Jeanette J Pizarro-Harpe
U.S. Marine Veteran • Healing Artist & Author
"Through the fluid grace of the canvas, I discovered how to live unfettered — free from the labels and pain."
From Front Line Warrior to Healing Artist
I’m Jeanette, and my journey has been a collection of many different landscapes. From the busy streets of the Bronx and my Puerto Rican roots to the front lines as a U.S. Marine, I have spent my life learning what it means to be a warrior. Today, I live that mission in a new way — as an artist, creator, author, speaker, and fellow traveler on the path to healing.
I know what it’s like to live behind "camouflage." I know the weight of carrying things the world cannot see. But I also know that even in our darkest seasons, beauty persists. Through painting, I discovered how to shed labels, process pain, and live unfettered.
At Camouflage to Canvas, We Believe:
- 1Your past does not have to be your permanent landscape. You have the power to paint new beginnings.
- 2Healing is a tactical, beautiful, and daily practice. Creativity gives shape to emotions words cannot hold.
- 3Every one of us is a masterpiece in progress. Unfettered grace is available to all of us.
